The calcite vertical mill is a large-scale industrial grinding equipment specially designed for processing calcite, a natural calcium carbonate mineral. Core Working Principle: Material Bed Grinding
Different from traditional ball mills (which crush materials by steel ball impact), the working method of the vertical mill is as follows:
Crushing: Materials enter from the top and fall onto the rotating grinding disc. Grinding rollers controlled by a hydraulic system press the material layer (material bed) on the disc to crush it.
Drying: While grinding, hot air introduced from the bottom can dry moisture-containing materials, achieving two goals at once.
Classification: The crushed fine powder is carried by the air flow to the classifier at the top. Qualified fine powder is selected and collected, while unqualified coarse powder is thrown back to the grinding disc for re-grinding.
